I ran the Sports Relief mile two years ago. I ran all the way round and it took me 9 minutes and 50 seconds. I'm thinking of having another go this year, although I don't think I'll be able to improve my personal best by much.

Why do I hang out in a place which has Good Women in it? I don't want to run a mile. *Puts fingers in ears* La la la la la! I can't hear you!

I think I'll do the Sport Relief Mile this year. I can't actually run a mile at the moment, so it will be A Challenge.
The Boss has been nagging me about my weight for a while, so I'll just have to make sure he doesn't see me. I wouldn't want him to think that it had made a differene.

Oh well I'm working that weekend. I'll have to run a mile on a treadmill at the gym instead.

It's all about karma Ben.

I know it's been on the market for ages, but I have just tried the fat free cream cheese. It has absolutely no resemblance to cream cheese except the color. I'll have to try to flavor it with herbs or something.
I seem to remember there being low fat cheese in several varieties years ago. The stores where I shop don't have any anymore except for a fat free cheddar sandwich slice from Bordon's (which isn't too bad and melts nicely - thank you Elsie) and the part skim mozzarella. And this awful fat free cream cheese. I should have known better since the fat free sour cream is so nasty. And I tried a fat free ranch veggie dip that was so bad it nearly made me gag.
They can do lower fat and still have a decent product. But fat free is another story.
I'd have a heart attack if I ran a mile right now. That's a good training goal. I suppose we could have a salonista challenge race. Set a date and then time ourselves and see who has the best time. I'd come in last, but I'd participate. If the date was a few months off.

No running here. My ankle is too arthritic.
Hypatia, while I think of it, I have been meaning to say what a good idea your footinooti campaign is. How can we help? Have you made a page to explain what it is?

Lil, footinooti is Wilma's idea. She did make a page for the Footinooti Society and you can find it here. A11634707
Must get busy. Company this afternoon. It's panic time.

Morning all.

And the best way for everyone to help promote footinooti is to be polite and follow the rules of Netiquette and not get into slinging matches. There are quite a few of us who are weary of the rearchers whose apparent goal in life is to show everyone how clever they are. It really does become tiresome.

*puts several hands in the air*
Um. I have a question. What is footinooti, please? I fear I may not have been paying attention.
*hangs tiny head in shame*

It's an acronym.
Try the link to Wilma's page (as above) and/or read The Alabaster House Journal in
I was confused on this too - until about 3 hours ago

Darn, I'm too slow. I was going to make a sarcastic comment about you failing to see that link, Amy.
Good luck with the running thing everyone. I don't think there's much chance of me running a mile. Unless someone tried to feed me cheese that'd come from a spray can.
