I rather thought it looked like a badly poured pint of Guinness, myself.
Ah, now I really am a bartender, aren't I?

and to you all over there on the sick side of the room.
It is amazing how our bodies can tell us what we need. When my thyroid went hyperactive I had an odd craving for cabbage and cauliflower (also Oreo cookies, but I think that was rather a side effect), then when it took a sudden dive into hypothyroidism I only had an appetite for very spicy foods. Only Thai food seemed to taste spicy enough for me and it was at that time that I had a sudden impulse to eat a spoonful of cayenne pepper straight-up . Later I learned that the two types of food have a reputation of slowing and speeding the metabolism, respectively.

If cabbage and cauliflower slow one's metabolism then I am in *deep* trouble.

My world view has just changed. Previously I thought of mp3 players and digital cameras as portable items. But now there is this:

I'm having trouble imagining how you use it to take snapshots while on vacation.

I'm picturing a certain segment of the population pulling up their recliners to the fridge.

I can see some use for one of these... Someone comes up to steal my beer but are greeted with the camera showing them in teh act. They then put my beer back in the fridge and grab one of the cans of weasle urine that they call beer instead.

Got to see Star Trek Nemesis tonight. I'm not at all unhappy with the ending. It is, after all, something that actor has wanted to do for years.
I have to recomend Treasure Planet. It's what Atlantis was suposed to be. I'm pleased that the animation Oscar wil go to something with cell animation this time.

Mac, did you catch that "damnit Jim, I'm not a doctor" line in Treasure Planet? Cracked me up!
I don't know. They left the whole end of Nemesis open. I told you the guy who plays Shinzon rocked.

And I was going to say...so much for the exercise of walking to the fridge during a commercial, huh?

I don't know, Caer. It frightens me.
