{[caer csd] Following Munchkin's visit to Hampton Court Palace, we went today. I'm sure more rooms have been opened up since my last visit and the Costumed Guide's tour of William III's apartments was fascinating. We enjoyed it so much that we upgraded our admission ticket to a season one so that we can make as many visits as we like over the next 12 months. After two more visits, the rest will be free and I doubt that we will have seen it all.}

Hmmmm, this claims that there have been four hours since the last post, and three hours since the last accident in the labs. I'd better fix both of those problems.

*just as he _uts down his card, he _icks it up again, as it has caused a bit of a landslide having been _laced ato_ the mountain of calling cards _reviously left. With a great sigh, surveying such a multitude of calling cards, the likes the atelier has never seen, s_orky gathers the cards into a canvas tote and brings them outside to be mulched*

Starts a new pile of cards which will soon replace the heap S_orky has tidied away for mulching.

Sorry, just thought that I'd empty out some of the older cards to get the new pile on a healthy start.

A note for Affy & Sea
This is probably not really the right place to post this but.....
Are you aware of where abouts your Shimmering lights and Sounds thread F85917?thread="smiley - biggrin" title="biggrin" class="smiley" src="http://www.h2g2.com/h2g2/skins/Alabaster/images/Smilies/f_biggrin.gif"/>

Wait, who shot who in the what-now?
*Affy looks at the forums*
How'm I the most frequent poster in that place? It's almost as if....AH! Minos Krylma and his STUMPED Agents have developed a device that allows them to make the complicated jump into other websites, and they've launched a campaign to take over London's "A Sense Of Place" website!
*Affy looks at Sea*
You really should keep me posted about your boss's plans, Sea. He doesn't tell me these things.
Bye everyone! I've gotta go run downstairs and turn on the Pan-Dimensional Rift generator to see if I can do anything to stop this!
*Affy checks the forum again*
On second thought, it looks like CHOPPERS is doing a lot of work there. I'll let the official superheroes handle it this time.
Thanks for pointing that out, BB.

Ah. A good weekend so far. Saturday, lots of jumping up and down in a field in N. London at teh Fleadh 2002. I even managed to see both headliners (Alabama 3 and the Pogues). Well Ok, I saw the Alabama 3 and then caught the last of the Pogues set but it was good fun. Joe Strummer and his new band were very good (can white men really play regae?). Peter Green, blues guitar legend can still play but seems to have lost it about anything else. The Dropkick Murphys turn tyhe bagpipes into a punk instrument. The Wonderstuff and the Proclaimers were good to sing along to. Jesse James should be seen by lots more people. Hawksley Workman has a great rock and roll name It stayed mostly dry and Munchkin and friends weren't avoided even though I tried not very hard
Today was walking through London in the rain. A trip over the new Thames footdridges - the millenium (wobbly) bridge and to the new Hungerford bridge footbridge on the upstream side.

Hmm... no doubt this great multitude of calling cards is down to many a salonista taking part in the latest great hootoo roleplaying adventure. I've never seen one take this much business away.
Myself, I am busy on other matters that require my most urgent attention. Programming in the last week left before it's back to college for another stint of educational benefits.
Key: Complain about this post
