Chris Tonks Posted May 20, 2002
Thanks for the birthday wishes, all.
I forgot to mention it. Where did you find out, T?
Thanks for this little gadget, Odra! It will be most useful, despite my ADSL connection.
Yes, I am doomed to have exams on my birthday. It was German oral three years back, geography last year and pure maths today. ('Pure' maths as opposed to mechanics or statistics, two other modules.)
Glad that your dad's op went well, Caer.
And good to hear you had a good time, Phil.

Thanks for the well wishes, I'm somewhat weary after doing my share of phoning and emailing Dad's chums. These 80+ year olds never seem to be offline!

Happy Birthday, Chris.
Welcome back, Phil.
Glad your dad is doing well, Caer.
*Plops on couch.*
Matina, a , if you please. I'm just back from the Fourth Grade field trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. The animals survived better than the chaperones.

And the children, Witty? Did they survive, or did the chaperones feed the animals?
Speaking of feeding the animals, I know an animal who ate the potatoes that I was intending to cook for dinner tonight.
A happy birthday to Chris, and a speedy recovery for your dad, Caer.

Amy the Ant - High Manzanilla of the Church of the Stuffed Olive Posted May 20, 2002
*waves to Phil*
I may never be able to sleep properly again. I watched the Spooks program (a drama about spies) on tv tonight and I'll be having nightmares for weeks over the incident with the deep fat fryer.

I actually ran out of the room. I haven't done that for years. I'm not as shock-proof as I thought.
... That's probably a good thing.

amy, i've always had issues with tv programs in which people make fools of themselves. i can't watch. emotional squeamishness, i guess!
belated birthday wishes, tonks!
