That's all?!?! Try not seriously using h2g2 for a whole week, and watch the backlog pile up.

I meant thongs (spelling?). And I hate them. Also I enjoy looking overweighted ladies wearing them under very tight white trousers. It makes me ROFL.

I don't think a thong would agree with my anatomy. Plus I'd get funny looks.

hmmm....
i have heard that wedgies do not hurt when you wear thongs
i have never had the chance to tell myself. i must say though, that the idea of wearing one does appeal to my though

I have been completely avoiding this topic the whole time it's been going. And I refuse to add my own comment now! We GalaGroup Overseers don't want the whole Omniverse to find out our personal preferences as far as undergarments go!

Good Weeend to you all. I have been waing through Olympic traffic since Friday night. One good thing about the opening cerimony was that the restraunt that I took Liz to for dinner was empty. There was only the two of us there and it is in the heart of Downtown Salt Lake. The lounge lizard they had singing and playing piano was very cool as he got my message (I called before to reqeust a couple of songs. this was a suprise for Liz) and played everything I wanted to. The waitress was very attentive as well. I hardly imagined that there would be no one else there. I am hoping that most people are still watching events from home or at the various venues so I can take my sister to a film this afternoon. Many of the mundane activities that are usually crowded, seem to be feeling a bit of slowness as the games are here. I happen to enjoy this myself. More to come as events occur that are interesting or intruiging.

No doubt the next few days will see a huge increase in underwear sales as the men go out and by stuff that is really uncomfortable and the wrong size.
Come the weekend and the girlies will be sneaking off to change all the frothy, frilly undies for something far more practical.

Oh ya, this is the first time in years that I have purchased roses... May I just say that $50/dozen is a bit exessive?

that was teh best price I ould find on short notice without havign to drive across town to a different florist. However, I have only last night made the aquaintance of another florist. I am hoping that going through her exclusively will help me lower some of the insane costs for getting flowers for the GF.

I asked about to my married friends and it seems that this is just an unusally bad tine to purchase flowers due to Valentines day next week and the olympics here at teh same time. I was not looking forward to dropping $50 every time I wanted to give Liz some roses.

Mac (having trouble typing with a pug dog in his lap) Posted Feb 10, 2002
I've been gone due to being busy combined with equipment troubles, I did say it was a dull story.
sea, whitie-tighties aren't supposed to flatter, they are supposed to be invisible. They are the ultimate in practical underware and why would you want any more than that?
Hey, Marv, Utah is really beautiful, so why are they holding the cross country events in such a barren place? I've seen more trees in Texas. I've been following the Winter Games since 1976 and I have never seen an uglier venue. And to contrast the Alpine site at Park City looks stunning.

I though the Olympics were supposed to bring an economic boost to whatever city hosts them, not a slowdown. I can understand the movies being emptier than usual, but not the restaurants. All those tourists have to eat, don't they?
Chris, I distinctly remember you saying several posts back something about underwear and "crossing your mind", which I took to mean that San Betans wear mental underwear. It seems a natural progression - underpants, then undershirts, and then undercaps. Sorry, but your secret is out.

Ah, s. Marv, you old romantic!
There was a slight earthquake earlier - I spent the time writing to Lil.
