Responding to various people on this post, I feel I must give my opinion on one detail. But first, a little about me: I am a year 8 student who has been studying german for the past two years.
Now the "Constructive Criticism":
Concerning Wie heißt du?; I was taught to respond with Ich heiße George or whatever your name is. The book in question (LOGO! by Heinemann)however, seems to use the German equivalent of Queen's english so this opinion could be totally worthless.

Anyway.. Hey, uhhh.... German-teachy-people, could you teach me some phrases that would be useful while talking to/about Joe? Stuff like 'I love you.' Yeah, that'd be good. Joe's awesome. Sorry, just felt like mentioning that Joe's awesome.

Nope...I can do that without having to learn more flipping German!
Come on! Teach me! Besides Im using zero German any more and any I do use I just chuck into a translator and check over for really odd mistakes.
