50 Giant Monkeys in the mountains
500 monkeys typing in the typewriter room
1 thrown through the portal
1 thrown to some ravenous plants
448 unused.
All of the ones that are alive and in our dimension give Celery full support. I imagine the dead ones wish they hadn't been treated that way, and would support Celery-Webjello, but we can't be sure.

Thanks. Where are the 448 monkeys residing currently? At CLI?

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Jul 6, 2000
I think so. And there are 50 giant-sized ones living in Moxon Wood halfway up the slopes of Mt. Sandeverest according to Pierrot's last report. I don't know whether the gnus are sentient; they arrived in a herd under the aegis of Dr. John and are grazing somewhere in the Magic Forest. Anna the Penguin was last sen following Dr. John out of the Aroma Cafe.
Shall we add internationalism to the Celery's platform?

Good idea. Maybe we call it Universality to include not only all nationalities, but different dimensions as well.

If anybody wants to know, you didn't see me.

Umm... *momentarily distracted by someone who evidently is not here*
Good, yes, and galaxies. Pan-culturalism, Universality. Dang! It DOES talk!

FYI,
There is now an "Information and Rules" page for the Virtual Prez site.

Doesn't look like anything particularly new to us, but it does have a few more details about the procedures.

**** Good News ****
I just heard back from Alien. She will personally support Celery and has pledged the support of the H2G2 Space Centre!

Afgncaap5 Posted Jul 6, 2000
Anyway, leave your address, and I'll send you the messed up information. Meanwhile, if you wish to pretend to support our candidate, we'd love to use that in our campaign.

Ah, I see. So you know about the PDCC's involvement in all this??
& you also know about what the PDCC will do?
Erm, or did you get the plans for the giant road map?

I am not at liberty to divulge my sources at this time, nor how much I know.
Do you really think I would uncover myself here without already have a backup plan in operation.
