*the path winds and gradually descends, away from the formations and into a narrower passage*
*a sound of trickling water can be heard some distance ahead*
[Eleven] Not far now. The path ends in a ledge about a foot above the surface of the lake. There is a wide smooth beach on the other side, but you will want to steer to about 1 o clock to find it. The rest of the lake's edges are nothing but sheer wall, except for a small waterfall that falls about fifteen feet on the eastern rim. There is, as Miss Lil has noticed, an underground passage out of the lakebed.

I seem to recall putting the raft back in my pocket in case there are questions
*Retrieves the raft from his pocket but does not inflate it.*

Surprisingly clear. The passage must lead somewhere to facilitate water flow.

/* Trips over a dusty mound, nearly falling into the water. Catches his balance and examines the mound */
It's an inflatable raft. I think I'd rather take the Odradek though, since I don't have a tube of viscous fluid. Or an air pump. And I do have a dog, who has pointy nails.

Red Fox - this story has been going on for months. There is tons of backlog, all of which is significant (since it is all fodder for future jokes). If you are willing to read it all, then you are welcome to join us.
We are also sticklers for continuity - that is, even though weird things may happen here, they do need to be logically consistent with the setting and the story and the characters. Your appearance in a cloud of smoke doesn't qualify. If you read the backlog and want to join in, you will need to think of a way of joining us that is logically consistent with the "story universe" you are joining.
For now, we will need to ignore you, since you can't logically be here.
The backlog starts here: F32669?thread=363628
