I don't care about Ghoti. He's probably busy with his castle, anyway.
I need to get clean.
*Dives into the lake.*

Coniraya Posted Jul 13, 2004
*sees Witty and Lil cleaning off in the water*
I'll chance it then..
*ducks under the water, back up again and bobs about trying to get all the gloop off*
*then remembers the recent newsreport about the surfer being bitten in half by a *
s *out of the lake*

*Affy checks the backlog and notes, much to his surprise, that he was never actually hit with anything during the food fighting, and doesn't need to clean*
Probably for the best. Everytime I get into a body of water on this trip, it seems like somethin' happens.

Garius Lupus Posted Jul 13, 2004
*Looks at all the gloop covering himself. Scrapes some off and flings it aimlessly away, inadvertently hitting Affy with it.*
Oh, sorry.
*Jumps into the lake. Gives a lazy kick with his legs and zooms 50 feet out.*
These clown shoes make good flippers!
Anyone for a lap around the pool?

*splashes happily*
We know that the water isn't contained, so whatever goop we've added to the water will either feed microorganisms -- and that should be good for ghoti's food chain -- or will wash out.

*gets the kit out on the beach and has the kettle on to boil in no time*
Don't worry it isn't any of the lake water, it's from my infinity capacity bottle.

Well call me crazy but I ain't going in there .... besides if the going gets tough later on, this dairy product based goop that's covering me might come handy if we ever get hungry.

You forget that we have a fully-loaded pack horse in a dimension just a pocket away.
Ah, tea! *comes out of the water, drying off with her towel*

Afgncaap5 Posted Jul 14, 2004
I think we also have a pizza....or has that been finished off by now?
*Affy wipes the tiny glob off of his face and tosses it back into the water*
I don't think we should worry about Ghoti. His main concern seemed to be that we not cross the lake. And we're on the side that we want to be on, correct?
However, this is the third body of water I've been in on this trip. The giant attacked in the pond in our own time, I nearly drowned in that stream just as the Gobold's were attacking, and no sooner do I touch this lake than Ghoti rises.
And as it's still been too soon since our most recent battle for my taste, I think that I'll just keep from touching this Lake here.

Well I'm still staying out of the water ...... this goop is hardening up and it's a bit like wearing a suit of armour. I must have 2 inches of it all over
*walks around a bit stiffly in Goop Armour*

Oh, let's have a campfire! I have some more improbably condensed meals in my pack.

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Jul 16, 2004
*shows up covered by goop, brooding on revenge*
*puts down the still clean umbrella on the beach before diving into the water*

Witty Moniker Posted Jul 16, 2004
*Exits the lake, her stain-resistant, teflon-embedded camo-wear shedding the water completely. Helps herself to while waiting for the campfire to get going.*
This is quite a nice beach.

*in the process of rinsing her hat in the lake, Lil loses two of her luminescent squid*
Drat! I'll have to take better care of the ones I have left. Still, they should be well in the lake.

Red (and a bit grey) Dog Posted Jul 16, 2004
*walks over to inspect Titania's amazing all-purpose umbrella even more stiffly than before*
This is harder work than I thought it would be

dElaphant (and Zeppo his dog (and Gummo, Zeppos dog)) - Left my apostrophes at the BBC Posted Jul 20, 2004
/* Steps cautiously into the lake, while Zeppo stands inconveniently close to Affy and shakes the excess goop off his fur, sending 7 billion tiny droplets in a fine pattern in all directions, making it absolutely impossible to step out of the way. Dogs are particularly good at doing this. Zeppo then follows d'E and paddles happily around the shore. */

Would you mind if I had a look at your splendid gadget Ti ?
*bends down painfully slowly picks up Titania's umbrella and unbends even slower*
I think someting in happening to the Goo ! I can't move

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Jul 20, 2004
*emerges from the water, shakes herself dry as learnt from Zeppo*
Oi - you! That's my umbrella, you know! And besides, there's nothing remarkable about it except for its very repellant forces, is there?
*snatches the umbrella away from Red Dog*
Is there?!
