Although I believe airships do produce that type of sound, if I recall from old news footage of the Hindenberg and R101 in flight, taken from the gondola.
But that can't be, as it isn't an instrument (see post 43)

I'm not sure, as I don't know from what axis point you are using. For example, this object could be on top of a mountain, or it could be at ground level, and come in various sizes. I say this as I'm starting to head towards Hawaii as a location where many are situated. Along with an American desert, to name two. Each differing sizes!
