I'm not shutting the world out, I'm just taking a break from it. I'm not used to being up at 4:30 in the morning.

IIEM, after watching the news for 5 hours yestoday I could reallt do with an anti-latte, cheers.
Has the whole of the BBC site been as slow as anything over the last day? I havn't been able to connect for ages.
But do you see that 'WE' are on the BBC front page. YES h2g2 is acnowledged on the forn page. Ahh, *things begin to make sense* then I guess that is wy there are about 20 new members in a row. Cool.

I was up most of the night, went to school the next morning, need coffee so I can stay up and continue with the obsessive news watching, numbness feeling and as-yet-not-concluded process of making sure things are ok with people I know.

And I just waste my time trying to connect h2g2. It took me almost 2 hours to break in here.
Irv: I guess it's about to start a new thread but I'd wait with it until things calm down. OTOH if h2g2 is soooooo slow, the shorter thread might help.
