oh, do piss off.
You know, in the 96/97 season ( I play old versionds of championship manager too much) there were actually two Michael Browns in the Man City squad- the one now at spurs, and a goalkeeper named "Michael R Brown", who's ensuing career I know nothing of.

I think I might be able to answer that one for you.
Here is your Michael Brown the Man City goal-keeper - http://www.soccerbase.com/footballlive/?MIval=players_details&playerid=10646 - which all goes a bit quiet.
However, in the list of other Michael Browns that they've got listed there is this chap - http://www.soccerbase.com/footballlive/?MIval=players_details&playerid=17585 - note the Scottishness and the fact that they are a goalkeeper.
The next step is a quick scoot over to Forfar Athletics website where we find this list of players for the current season - http://www.forfarathletic.co.uk/official/staff/20032004.php - note that his date of birth is but one day out from that listed as the 'Michael Brown, Man City goalie'. Also note his shirt sponsors, "The Manchester Loons".
I think we've got our man
Oh, and here's what he looks like - http://www.forfarathletic.org.uk/loonatic_v2/content/members/player.php?first=Michael&last=Brown&type=present

Aha, and that forfar link mentions his "nightmare spell at Man City".
You know if Cowdenbeath play Forfar anytime soon, just so I can start a chant of
"Two Michael browns, there's only two Michael Browns"
