I think all I need for this race is the cheque . GreyDesk can provide his name address to me directly via email and I can fill it in on the form. They don't ask for a signature.
There's no sign of the sponsor form for Sports Relief yet but it's early days. I think collection for that event is a different matter because there will (hopefully) be more sponsors and some of them might not know who you are. Being able to wave the official sponsorship form might allay fears that folk are just handing money to a bloke in a pub who happened to spin them a good yarn.
I'm still chuffed to bits that you are all doing this for me . Thanks again.

Yes, thanks everyone . I ran the 5k in 34 minutes 42 seconds and I've raised £65.50 in total.
