That's not a pedestal - it's my shoes. Why do you think I trip so much?

I've made some exotic advances in particle physics. Doesn't seem to be much use when I'm surrounded by magic users, but basically it fires beams of a given cross-sectional area which intersect at a given distance, and any particles within the volume of space where the beams intersect find themselves annihilliated upon colliding with their respective antiparticles. For every particle in the region, its corresponding anti-particle is isolated from the quantum vacuum and juxtapositioned with it.
Unfortunately, there's a limitation on the maximum feasible beam radius - at a certain point for any given distance, the energy of annihillation becomes equal to the energy taken to produce the beam, so increasing the beam's radius is uneconomical except for very fine beams. However, it's still incredibly powerful for something so small.
(I'm assuming that if people can work outside physics at will, then it's perfectly legitimate for me to merely theorise to an insane degree. )

People have been signing up without me? I dread to think what sort of -spit- maggots have been allowed to join in my absence.

You can get a beholder's eye at WOnko Incorporated, off of his page, I think...
But it can be restricted so you can't use it in the guild.
And learning magic is easy, just by a D&D book or AD&D game. And its got all the spells.

you can try.
it'll cost a bundle though, those things aren't cheap. the smaller ones'll be much less but they only cast one spell...

Hw atns the antimagic cone to combat peopel with magic.
Or course, then, once the magic is gone, you have to resort to kung fu stuff
