i have quite a few mini skirts and dresses but no proper stiletto shoes. the highest shoe i have has a think 2 inch pointed and its a suede brown shoe.

i do not know of any other celebrities but i wonder if nell gwyn came from essex.

list... yep, _definitely_ and of course as many names as possible will be linked to an H2G2 entry or and a BBC page... a bit like for Amanda Tapping on the Group's page where the name is linked to the BBC and Stargate SG1 is linked to an h2g2 entry on... Stargate SG1... there will be names with no links unfortunately so yep, some entries for them would be great... those which have a BBC link but no h2g2 entry about them could do with one as well anyway... so yep, xian... you're definitely welcome... after all the Essex Researchers Group is an h2g2 project and producing entries is definitely encouraged...

i _almost_ destroyed manda's good work with the frame about the essex celebrities conversation... i added Amanda Tapping [the advantage of having the "keys" for the place...] but things kinda went wrong for a while... but it's back to normal now... and the idea with Douglas Adams' picture is still there..

kat.. if you're not sure about some celebs but think that they might have some connections with essex, still post them here [just tell us that you're not sure ] and we will make a search... no problem...

yeah... some typos can be a bit embarrassing at times... accidents happen... don't worry... on a different note, i will always remember a typo in a translation from french to english where "cosmic" became "comic"... kinda changed the tone of the story very drastically there...

emmily i can access the bbc site but not the famous faces (fun section). i tried to find some info on famous essex scientists/inventors but i got a 100 pages to go through.

Loup, another very small point. How did 'a visitor to planet earth' (Michael) get his name on the list, when his only contribution was to say he was a frequent visitor to Essex (not frequent enough for my liking )I think you should make it a very strict rule that only those who live(/or have lived) in Essex can have their names on the list. There is a very simple solution to this Michael, you'll just have to move to Essex, I know just the place you can move to.

is it a ploy to get "visitor" to move in Essex?!... hehe... in this case yes...

for the "anyone whith some connections with essex" can be on the list... it's based on the Birmingham Group's rules... which means that someone who got friends living in Essex can contribute and become a member...

we could make an exceptional case and force "visitor" to move in Essex first if you want...

mind you by having "visitor" on the list that means that he will have to come to the group's meets..

thanks loup, i am very interested in local scientists especially inventors and what they invented. there was a tv programme about an inventor called fife robinson.

my cousin's in laws lived in the loughton area.
