*The elevator doors close with Dr. Harvey and The Arithmancer inside. The elevator begins to rise*

[Yar] ...

[He dashes over at top-Jedi speed (or close enough under the circumstances) and crashes into the now-closed doors.]

Stupid Little Robot-You have to open those half-wall things before they work.

[Yar] Shut up.

[He pushes the button to summon the elevator.]

*The button glows, indicating that the Elevator is returning*

[Yar taps his foot impatiently.]


[Vegeta] Must they show us the ENTIRE sequence of him waiting for the elevator?

*Kudos makes another lunge for the blaster, putting himself completely in harms way, as Corrupt reconstructs NYC and the well-armed villains head out the door*

*The elevator opens, leading to F127150?thread=346412 where Dr. Harvey and The Arithmancer are impatiently waiting*

*NYC reanimates*

Woo! That was painful, being deaded like that. Where were we? Oh yeah, on to establish control of the situation - well, either that or ensure that the situation is uncontrollable. Ooh, I smell tea...

*The robot, occupied with a crazed Kudos, left behind NYC's weaponry, which NYC recollects and follows Corrupt out the door.*

*The elevator door closes again*

[Bass] Oh gods ... Okay, this time, I'm gonna hold the doors open for everyone.

*Corrupt rushes in, platter of cake in hand. She notices Kudos grabbing his Binary Blaster from the suddenly inactive robot*

Kudos! So that's what you've been after! C'mon and help me with this.

*hands Kudos the platter*

[Kudos] I think his battery ran out. Where'd you get the cake?

[Corrupt] Boring story. NYC seems to have an evil plan now, though...

*NYC rushes in the prison, making a bee-line for the elevator, in front of which Bass is patiently waiting*

Outta my way!

*NYC stabs the elevator call button repeatedly and then turns to face Kudos and Corrupt*

So here's the plan - since they're eventually going to have to come back here and think up some plan, we can hole up and make sure that this elevator isn't going anywhere soon. I think the controls to this prison and maybe our elusive co-conspirators of BETTE are already up there and so it's probably a good idea. Besides, they didn't even have Oolong tea. And they call themselve tea drinkers.

Well, they called themselves adventurers, too... =/

*NYC eminated impatience at the elevator*

What, was this made by the lowest bidder?

[Corrupt] Sounds good.

[Kudos] What's in it for us?

[Corrupt] Err.... something to do?

*pause*

[Kudos] Okay, that works. But carry your own cake.

*the two wait outside the elevator, watching the numbers slowly light up in sequence, heading toward 1...*

*Various groups of Pan-Dimensional entities begin cheering*

Crayak-FINALLY! FACE, I was beginning to doubt that these people were ever going to start opposing each other! About time some of them started actively working against each other!

FACE-I told you it would be a good idea to inform members of STUMPED! heh-heh....that pan-dimensional entertainment monopoly is in the bag....


Affy4-Ah, Corrupt! There you are!

Stupid Little Robot-Tango person! You're back!

*SLR runs up to NYC and hugs him*

*NYC flails helplessly from SLR's grasp*

Aaaugh! I'm not that--Ican'tbreathegetitoffmegetitoffme!

*SLR releases his 'hug' and stares jovially at NYC*

*gasp* don't...*gasp* EVER do that again! *gasp, gasp*

*the elevator dings as it reaches the first floor; NYC unslings his one of his latest purchases from Corrupt's shop - a plasma rifle - and trains it at the elevator doors*

*Sets the cake aside and puts an impenetrable shield around it, then faces the elevator with a smile*

Heheheh...

*Kudos aims the Blaster at the door, warily eyeing the SLR*

*ding!*

*the elevator doors open, and two scientists and one jedi are greeted with a small cadre of large armaments pointed in their direction*

Alright! Reach for the sky! This elevator is going where WE want it to go, and you're coming with us!

*NYC motions for the others, sans SLR, to enter the elevator. Suddenly he realizes that if the elevator can be called mid-floor, it'd probably be best to derive a temporary way for the elevator not to be called. He rummages through his pockets to find little else but a key, some duct tape and a rubber duckie. NYC grins. He tapes the rubber duckie over the call button and files into the elevator*
