Cool.
I remember making massive dens by getting the duvets of the two bunks, and sort of folding them in, so there was a sort of door around the front but it worked like a tent.... do you see?
It was cool anyway.

I only ever had one of those, and it was rubbish. I built it myself though.
It required serious gymnastics to get into though.

My dad built mine, it creaked a lot but it stayed up. Eventually I got fed up of bashing my head on it and burning my hand on the light bulb.
Getting down was the hard part. At least, getting down without falling.

I hereby declare my bedroom a republic. Equal rights for socks!

Mullet Posted Feb 4, 2004
And what would the name of this republic be?
Oh, a side note. The airing cupboard has once again become a protectorate under the rule of Mullet, since my yeast growing experiments have sprung back into action...............

I'd be more than happy to add you to the UBC Moon Rising, but I do need to know the name of your Republic as Mullet said. I also need to know who the President is (yourself at a guess), the name of the capital city and its population size.
Heap is gropwing again too now that lectures have re-started.

Aww, it's your individuality! Anything you like, just go ahead.
Hangover has been populated especially heavily recently, as a bizarre experiment in drink mixing had very, very... shall we say, 'pronounced' results.
Actually pronounced is the wrong word entirely; try to get me to pronounce anything after I've had a few drinks you'll get a mess of syllables that sounds vaguely like "mamma". Whatever the word.
Not too different to normal, then.
Long live the yeast!

Just make something up, can't really do it for you it's a Republic after all.
Worst drink mixing experiance I had was when I lost a drinking game and ended up with a pint made up of what every one else was drinking.

Worst experience I've had? Well, I was at an 18th birthday party. My only memory of that party is being picked up and spun around by a guy who was in something like the second toughest unit in the Army. I was pretty gaga by that stage.

I've never forgotten a night out. However, I do like the university rule
"If you can't remember it, it didn't happen"

Researcher 185550 Posted Feb 4, 2004
That is a particularly good rule.
It's not common for me to forget a night out. But that night was particularly bizarre.

Laura Posted Feb 4, 2004
It's a very useful rule certainly.
I got lost in London on my 18th. Got on the wrong tube and ended up seperated from everyone I was with. COnsequently I was a little nervous aout getting to my first h2g2 London meet.

Yeah, I remember trailing my grandma round the tube when I was about six. I was terrified.

Did you ever see the Royal Tournament? That was always pretty cool.
