h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

You enter a dark room, with a lighted weapons rack on your left filled with 20 different types of pistol, 5 different rifles, a small hand grenade dispenser, a bazooka hanging alongside 20 different cases of different ammunition, and 30 different knives. Just beyond the weapons rack is another rack full of tools.
On the right is a wardrobe full of lots of different military uniforms(standard, desert, tropical,artic, dress, etc.), predominately colonels uniforms, but there are a few sergant's uniforms. Beyond there is another wardrobe full of different types of battle armor, and at the end of this is a charging berth for an armored space-suit (this is empty most of the time).
In the middle of the room is a desk cluttered with military memorabilia, and a computer terminal. On the right of the desk is a bed. On the left there is a fridge. And behind the desk is a large, comfortable-looking leather chair.
The whole of the opposite wall is taken up by a huge oak bookcase, packed with Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Issac Asimov, Frank Herbert, and Anne McCaffery books.
And the whole of the ceiling is taken up by an enormous, black flag, which has two massive, crossed, white cookries inside a white circle.
And below this circle, in blood-red letters, are the words:

'saevum venes signo'

... hi

Well? What do you think?

It's... different. Well compare it to my Pink Room, its kinda unusual but your "barrack" should represent your personality.....

*ahem*

It is not dark. It has got a florescent strip light around the top of the walls.

*walks in, goes straight to bookcase, picks out 'Foundation and Empire', and lies down on bed to read*

*by vid screen*

Better get down to the 'B-H-P-U' suite - Kryten's in a bad way. I might need help

*colonel, gripped by worry for Krytie, grabs a multi purpose toolkit, and runs out of room and down to the B-H-P-U suite*

*colonel swings by on his way to the bridge, and puts up a sign on the door saying: KRYTIE, MOVE ANYTHING AND I'LL START MUCKING AROUND YOUR BRAIN WITH MY RESYNCHRONIZER.*

*Colonel then grabs his book and goes to the bridge*

*arrives from garage... carefully polishes colonels guns as thanks and for niceness... then makes way to miss listerette's quarters*

*returns from quarters, whips open drawer & begins medal polish..*

*colonel comes ning from bridge with book and sits down on bed*

Finished! *medals are now at state where beam of gold will appear each time drawer is opened..*

*reaches over to the fridge and removes * Thanks.

*leaves to sit in quarters for a while....*
