[DM] That's all good, except the spell. Did I mention only wizards can cast spells? others can cast with their elements at certain times, but are not able to carry spells about and cast them.
Gandark tries for a wizard hat that protects the wearer from physical attacks.
[DM] Gandark gets a hat, may or may not work at any given moment....

Aargain recieves a mythril battle axe.
[DM] battle axes and hammers only work effectively for warriors you know. Nerd42

knives, whips, gloves, and even bows and arrows, though warriors are better at those too. mind, most anything /can/ be equipped by anybody and will work in battle. some weapon/race/class/element combos work better than others though. Nerd42

You cannot go north from inside the hut, that would bump you into a wall, so is it north from the middle of the glass lake into the mountains or north from the forest to try to regain the road? Nerd42

[DM] Farewell!
The party retraces their steps, back across the glass lake, through the thorns and the swamp to the forest, then back to the road. They walk about an hour, wondering what manner of strange perils they may have signed up for. Suddenly everything goes dark. A cold wind blows....
Ice Orc attacks! "Merry Christmas." says the Ice Orc sarcastically. 
Ice Orc casts IceBreath! "and a Happy New Year." Ice Orc casts IceDeath!
[DM] The party is now covered in foul smelling ice.
[Gandark] yuck! Gandark begins casting Fire hoping to melt it.
[DM] Party is now free of the ice.
"Fa lalalala lalalala!" says the Ice Orc, who gets ready to cast again. Nerd42
