Weapons surround you on all sides as you enter the slightly too small front room. A low counter can be just seen under miscellaneous piles of ... stuff. Shelves behind the counter hold several items. Through a door behind the counter a furnace can barely be seen, the noise of metal working can also be clearly made out.

This establishment has been made a legitimate part of the game by prior agreement on a special out-of-game thread. Anyone else wishing to open a buisiness, please first ask permission, (leave me a message on my Personal Space to make such requests) as opening a shop requires a liscense, which LeRue has already obtained. He is liscensed to sell certain items that are guaranteed to work on quests, but other items may or may not. Thank you.

[Sharp]: (wondering...he may want to buy something): "Hello! What kinds of things do you folks sell here?"

[Sharp]:
"Can I buy a hammer or a metal staff?
If so, would that have to be a custom order?
How expensive would it be?
about having so many questions at once (Sheesh)."

[LeRue] Yah, we have some stave's.
*picks up a staff*
This one was used by an old woman, who only every used it to go to church.
Of course a custom one would be far better and obviously more expensive, a fully metal one might not be the best idea as it would weigh about a .... ton in any metal except mithril.... and trust me you do not have enough money for one made entirely of mithril. But a good Yathrine Forest oak staff toped with your own choice of metal, with no inlay work would be ready in ... four day's. Cost you about... 90 golds.

Thorn Posted Oct 13, 2005
[Sharp]: thankee kindly sir.
I'm an deposed former aristocratic nobleman back in my homeland. Used to have much gold. Not anymore. How much would it cost to get somethin' simpler like a scythe or glaive instead?
Or y'know maybe just a plain old sword cane?
ing, (I kid you not ).

[sharp]: "Mayhap I could barter?
If'n ye lend mes some hardware, ta try an' take out that undead horde, (and assuming I'm not killed by then ), then I'll turn around and show yas the fyne ancestral art carried down by my family. It is how to etch designs, 's well as mystic-runes onto metal."
*Shows LeRue his own sword, w/ its red runes on it that are glowing with a green light.*
"If'n ye etch the runic stuff on it just right, agood weapon by itself, t'is a fine thing, but with the runes on it, ye can channel energy into the blade even easier."
: DM, is it to try an' resort ta barter if you don't have the money at the moment, but...

Do whatever you want. Store owners are liscensed to sell certain items that will work on quests, unliscensed items probalby will not, but might still work in Events. (like the zombie attack) But as far as price controls go, there aren't any - but someday the King might try to make laws to do with price controls, but you could break them. There's nothing about that in the Rules.

if you didn't want monsters in your store, you should have asked for a no-combat flag in your liscense!
