We had fun - saw the historic docks, walked across the Suspension Bridge, admired the view into the Avon Gorge - then ate some noodles and dumplings and many types of desserts. Later spent the evening tasting various
Oh, and the number of my hotel room, was 42!
Thanks everyone for coming - it was lovely to meet you all properly. I think I may very well have been slightly tipsy by the end of the evening
Special thanks to Radox for the ingenious parking advice

I've just made it back myself, after visiting a friend yesterday. Very tired now, however, and two pages of unread conversations to catch back up on... I'm never going three days without h2g2 again!

I survived! And I got my phone back! I'm so sorry I had to leave so early, but without being contactable I had to make sure I was back in time to reassure people that I was still alive!
It was lovely meeting you all and I really appreciated the effort. Hope the docks were enjoyable, wish I'd had more time to show you all around everything I love about Bristol!
I also got my very first piece of H2G2 memorabilia
We were all terribly well behaved though! (well, till I left anyway! )

Vip "I'm never going three days without h2g2 again!"
now you know why my gruntle was diss'd by the positioning of sockets on trains no netbook juice no hootoo .
My Sunday went pretty well to plan, down the far side of the harbour, 2nd breakfast, a bacon roll from a greasy spoon on the harbour side and a trip round the Great Britain in the morning.
Back to the arts place cafe (what's its name?) in time to book myself on the Matthew for a trip round the harbour at lunch time, then a series of drinking establishments along the harbour including the grain barge and a couple I can't remember the names of before ending up at the Nova Scotia for a pint and then catching the last connecting ferry to get back to Temple Meads.
Into Whetherspoons for a bite to eat & another before catching the train back.
Got home about 21:00

Robyn well behaved ???? The minx
Glad you all had such a great time and sorry I missed, but just can't do enough for a good boss
As I said before, so it was made a really special occassion by all that that did attend for Robyn's 'BIG' birthday and I'm really enjoying reading about it after the busy Saturday I had and I've got a great shiner, should have taken the day off and gone to Bristol. It would have been safer
