It's not my fault he has a nice bottom and looks particularly tasty in his football kit!
And the mud slide which went right up to his hip was funny. Especially when he showed me just how far up the mud went... From the centre circle in front of everyone.
Also, I like to tell him where he needs to improve and what he does well. I'm bossy like that

I strongly believe that perfection creates a sort of paradox because perfection must be imperfect to be perfect.
A truly 'perfect' person would be hideous to be around!
He's perfect for me. It's not what's wrong with you, it's whether or not you're aware of it that counts I think...
And if he wont practice his football, he wont be as good as his potential indicates. and at 32 he'd better get on with practicing or he'll run out of legs before he runs out of ideas!

I have far too much respect for Robyn than that , and besides, she's far too young I tend to be a little sensitive to some things because of the environment in which I work, I do indeed lock up predators

It's academic, I'm far too old to be considered jailbait!
Although I did have lots of people genuinely asking if I was turning 25 this year... Long may THAT last!

Tis true, you do appear to have a very aged and erudite head on a young body - 'zaftig' my yiddish friend would describe you, Robyn
There was me thinking you're about to pick up your bus pass, like me Perhaps that's why I getting too old and slow for this job My hips still ache from the last round

re 149:
So I could be Robyn's father, so what, Nortirascal? There was a time I dated a 50 % older than me
I'm just stuck with that vintage, I guess
Ps: Nah, I'm not

What are you on about now ????? Lost me Perhaps you should read the post again Perhaps it didn't make sense translated into Dutch
I will say again, I have a tremendous amount of respect for Robyn, never mentioned her parentage, or what you may desire to be, in that post Where is this going now I really don't know what you're on about.
I will remind you also I can be a little "sensitive", mayhap a little overly so, it is the the predators I work with and incarcerate on a daily basis. It does affect my views. I more comfortable with proper , at least they don't attempt manipulation as some do , just straight forwardly want to fight with me all the time Hence the shiner I managed to acquire on the Bristol meet weekend, been safer to have taken the day off and gone to support our friend Robyn celebrate her birthday Occupational hazards eh!
I shall recall one of my own adages - if your attack is going too well, you are most likely heading into an ambush Nuff said!

Vip Posted Feb 24, 2010
It can be tricky. Some people are shocked when they realise that Mr Vip is ten years older than me - they they see us together and realise that sometimes, age means nothing to people who just fit together.
On the other hand, nortirascal and I both work with people for whom that isn't the case, and in when reading text posts it can be hard to stop knowledge of some truly wrong situations skew what it was being said.
I don't think anyone really meant any harm here, so let's just push on, shall we?

In case people were wondering, I think Bristol is definitely worth a return trip. And this time, Bald Bloke and I found a pub that might be even better than the Weatherspoons.
--> --> but NOT ...

I endorse the choice of pub you ended up in. We really should have started off there. It has a true heritage after all.
And don't get upset nortirascal - Robyn and I are shipmates with Pierce, most of what we say is only imaginary teasing. There's nothing remotely sinister in any of it. Robyn is well able to look out for herself.
Just a shame you weren't there too - never mind - I am sure there will be other times in the future?

On another matter Vip - I *so* very nearly made it into Shrewsbury this evening - for a concert. But it was too last minute for us to get there and organise other matters at such short notice.
I was going to send you a message if we had made it.

That's perfectly ok I never get upset, just playing the game like your good selves, a little imaginary teasing
I did have a little rant on the "What news item has caught your attention today" thread. I was upset there!
Like I said before - Nuff said
