The occupational hazard of rolling around on the floor with a miscreant(s) 3x, it was one of those days . Taff would understand being in the same line of business
I must be getting a bit slow with age and naged to cop a shiner
Oh well, no worse than a good night out in Kingswood Robyn would understand that one

I try to avoid Kingswood after dark!
Glad you enjoyed Bristol's docks Baldbloke! Was the Matthew fab? I went on her when she was just built, but we didn't go anywhere, just had a good look round. Did you go into the cafe up by the SS Great Britain or the stand alone one further down by the big steam crane? If you went to that one, it's a bit famous. The Buttery does fantastic bacon sarnies!

Cor I love bacon sarnies with grated cheese on top. My ,doctor> told me I've got to lose weight. I said I'd rather die than give up me bacon sarnies and fat boys breakfast
He said I probably will. It's always good to reach agreement!
hen he sent me for a gloccose tolerance test, which I passed, but it invilved a lot of fasting

I think it's less about giving up the bad stuff (i.e. the GOOD stuff! ) and more about making sure that you have healthy stuff too. Like have salad with your lasagne and chips in the canteen. And EAT it! And maybe OJ with your fatboybrekkie...

Robyn
You are correct about the source and quality of the bacon rolls.
The quality of any eating establishment can be fortold by the number of people in hi-vis workwear especially on a Sunday Morning.
I was wandering along the quayside and it seemed like most of Bristols on duty utility workers were already sitting outside.

For some reason I slept through most of Sunday. Yesterday I was back at work but felt like I was still asleep. Today I've been wide awake but wishing I could get some sleep. Hootoo mini meets screw you up
Glad everyone got home OK, 'tis always nice to meet up with other Hootooers (I think it's the first time I've ever been on a meet and not been on the btw)

I was barely on it... What I did have made my hangover worse It was great fun meeting you though!
I'm just sorry I had to go early Next time I'll have to make sure I dont drop my phone or make sure I'm not at a home meet so I've got no-one to report in to

Well, we'll see about that... I have lots of ideas about what I intend to do... But I usually end up on my bottom at home

i just had to cancel my participation at the german meet, but in theory i could still come to both the london meet and the hull meet and would love to meet you all there

Malabarista - now with added pony Posted Feb 16, 2010
But the London and the Hull meet are on the same day!

Pierce would probably travel by his ship, which has an infinite probability drive - so could easily be in two places at once.

If you can buy alcohol in a pub you're PLENTY old enough to, you know...
And, er, I turned 28.
And no, no shennanigans, although strictly speaking I am a WAG nowadays. I was at the 10:30 kick-off yesterday morning up at Longwell Green's second pitch in my folding chair wearing my new wellies, rammstein scarf, over the knee socks and a skirt, NOFX hoodie, and fully equipped with a thermos of tea to witness Bristol Athletic FC beat Redfield Rovers 2-1.
See?
