are any of you americans affected by the bad weather we are hearing about?
i sure do hope you are not not!
we have had the worst winter since 1979 and it started very early (november) but so far we haven't had any major casualties (none that i have heard of, that is, but mind you, i was in italy for over a week)
but it has been quite rough in many european countries - and a small part of australia ("only" the size of germany and france combined) is drenched

It's been sunny here for most of the last week. We had a huge, nasty storm the day after Christmas. My sister, who is a retailer heavily dependent on Christmas-season purchases, is grateful that the storm spared her business.
The forecast is for some snow or rain next Sunday. Of course, it's possible for a storm to form, blast the out of a huge part of the country, and then dissipate within five days. That could happen, but if it doesn't, the snow on the ground may be mostly melted by the next storm...

I think that the Northeast is getting hit worse than we are in the Midwest ... well, We're kinda very eastern Midwest ... don't know why they call Ohio Midwest anyway, it's more Mideast, but I think there's already one of those in the world.
And I'm doing well, thanks Paul. I got some part-time w*rk, which is better than nothing! TJ and I are still the match made in hootoo heaven.
Right now I'm busy reading all about what's happening to the site. I know I haven't been around very much lately, but I still hold a special place in my for it. It's a great site.

Minus the beer, that's pretty much what my life has been lately too.
I'm looking forward to spring finally being here so I can get out into the garden!

No, not too much dust.
A little mold in the jacuzzi, though.
