Two weeks later

And I still don't have a phone. And I'll be in Salt Lake City for work purposes from Monday afternoon until Friday. That's about it I guess.

It's 5am
Posted Aug 3, 2000
And unlike some other days this week, where I've been up all night to nearly that time, this time I've slept for the last 6 hours. The rest of the day looks like this: drive to Washington DC, takes 4 1/2 to 5 hours with the last bit being in hectic downtown. Ugh. I hate that part. Spend maybe an hour, two at most if they come up with a serious problem, swapping the computer that's in the trunk of my car right now for one that's down there. Then load that computer up and drive back. How's that for a 12-hour day? I expect to get come and collapse, if I manage to not collapse somewhere on the road.
Gotta go now.

Time to move again
Posted Jul 31, 2000
A nice, easy move actually. No trucks, no packing everything tight to make it all fit, no rushing to get it all done in one day. Just have to carry everything up two flights of stairs over the course of about a week. And figure out where to put everything up there. And force myself not to buy the new stuff I need....

Is this the rule?
Posted Jul 12, 2000
I'm beginning to think it must be I should never answer a question seriously and otherwise must always write either in extreme frustration or only for humor. There's no in-between normal serious conversation. Is this true?
