Weirder and weirder
Posted Feb 15, 2000
Seems last week I couldn't get enough sleep. Now, I'm making due with less and less.
And why am I always talking about sleep anyway!?!!

8:30am musings
Posted Feb 10, 2000
That's not what time it is now; it's about 3 hours later. But there's something perverse about coming to work at the real sort of "go to work in the morning" time. I walked out the door about 7:45, had to scrape a layer of frost off the car windows, the drive takes twice as long as normal (about 25 minutes vs about 12) with a lot more cars... none of this happens when I come in somewhat later, even if that's as early as, say, 9:15-9:30. But still even after fighting the rush hour and such, it's strangely fulfilling and feels good. Ah, well.

There's a perfect quote

It was just there on the Random Quote Generator, from FDR:
"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on." Sounds about right.

Me and time, we just don't seem to get along
Posted Jan 24, 2000
Well. It's 1am. I should be sleeping, as I'm set to get up at 5:30. Yikes. And I can't sleep. I'm hardly tired, which isn't too surprising considering I got up at 10 this morning, then slept from about 1-3 this afternoon. Heh, if only I could live my life on that sort of schedule.
I need about 4 more non-sleeping hours in my day. Without losing any sleep that is, no good saying to sleep less. That's what I'm going to do tonight, of course. On the times when I really must get up, I can do that. But everyday stuff has become such that it's not a case of must get up.
Time for change, change is good, yeah. There's another argument I have with time, and with others. I'm slow to make changes. At least by some measures. Time, always time there to get in the way. Isn't there a stop button around here somewhere?
