Good thing I like driving my new car
Posted Oct 19, 2000
Geez, what a mess the last few days have been. Drive here, drive there again, very little sleep in between, then drive somewhere else. Ick. Well, tomorrow it's one more little hour-long drive (one is better than three) and then it'll be a plane. Well, then another hour drive on the end of that. Hehe. It never ends. But at least by then I'll be somewhere different. (Florida) And a different car, though probably I won't like that bit. Maybe I should ask to drive the plane too, just to be consistent in driving myself everywhere.

This is not a good time to be ill
Posted Oct 9, 2000
But then again, when is? I've got a lovely cold or something that's keeping me from what I should be doing right now, which is sleeping. Normally sleeping seems like such a wasted activity, but right now I'd give anything to be able to sleep.

There's no place like home
Posted Sep 5, 2000
For the first time since moving over 3 weeks ago, I'm able to surf from home! Still working on getting a faster-than-POTS connection, though.

Posted Sep 2, 2000
I started using the words "Creative Craziness" to describe some things I was doing. They probably weren't ever all that crazy, and maybe weren't always that creative either, but I attached myself to the idea that sometime in the future I might use those two words to name some entity, a company of some sort I suppose. And back in February with the advent of $15 domain name registrations, I staked a claim on the .com, .org and .net extensions for two years, feeling good with the knowledge that no one else would be able to take them, and that I would eventually use them for something. Over the last few months, an idea took shape as to what this entity could be, but I thought that idea was something I could only do either many years into the future or if I won some lottery jackpot. That's what I thought until yesterday, on the plane back from Salt Lake City. Much to my surprise I haven't found anything too similar nor can I remember hearing anything about anyone doing quite this thing. That could mean it's a bad idea. Or it could mean I've stumbled onto something worth doing that no one's gotten around to yet. Actually, I have no doubt it's worth doing. What might take convincing is that it takes a new entity to do it.
Is this sudden startling revelation going anywhere, or is it just another project that will be left unfulfilled and incomplete? Stay tuned...
