I'm beginning to think it must be I should never answer a question seriously and otherwise must always write either in extreme frustration or only for humor. There's no in-between normal serious conversation. Is this true?

Are you sure? I can't post something normal serious in many places without becoming the butt of a joke. That would seem to suggest I shouldn't do such things.

There are several serious discussions, but you do have to weed through the trival levity of the postings. Unfortunatly, degradation is a problem with posts into complete muck. It really is a bit of work to keep disscussions on topic and most people don't mind degrating into humor. I can not tell you why. Is there something you wanted to toalk about?

No, I just wanted to whine about that for a bit. Isn't it what journals are for? It's not at all a good feeling to have, that everyone is laughing behind your back. And yet to feel that means that I must question the sincerity of people for whom I shouldn't have to. It's the sort of uncertainty that everyone must deal with all the time, I guess, and right now I'm not coping with it very well.

Do you think people are not sincere? Do you fell there are those who are laughing? Other than a few rather immatures, i didn't get that feeling.
