The same way as you'd bookmark the home page - add the URL to the 'bookmarks' or 'favourites' section or whatever it's called on your web browser.
But, as Jimster and Paully quite rightly point out, you'll be missing out on quite a lot if you do. Is it really worth doing that just to eliminate the one extra click required to take you to your space from the front page?

Bookmark the sign-in page:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/signon/mainscript.pl?c=login&service=h2g2&ptrt=http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/SSO?s_return=
In most browsers you can add this bookmark to your bookmark toolbar. Or 'favourites', if you're still using M$ Intermittent Exploder.
Click it, sign in, and you'll go directly to your PS

No, I was just wondering how it was done. As I use a public computer I couldn't bookmark my space anyway.

Yes, it is. I bookmarked my PS, but every day I go to the Front Page to see what's on it.

No, you can add it straight into your bookmarks all you need is this
www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/Unumber
Change brunel for whatever skin you prefer and add your Unumber where indicated

Ok thanks, I'll probably still sign in the old way when I get internet at home (one day), to remember to look at the front page. Sounds like its getting lots of exciting new stuff

A rant about God wanting to destroy the US via earthquakes, or something like that. It was on the annoucements page before it got moved, hence why you're subscribed.

Just a sad little squit who wanted to annoy people

I'm sure there are some not-so-sad squits out there and to them I apologise

This thread started as an unofficial Announcement, got ed replaced to misceleaneous Chat replaced to the Researcher's Personal Space "

I'm sure that from his point of view he was being altruistic...warning us of impending disaster and urging us to find god.

I wonder how many earthquake warnings San Francisco gets every day, and I wonder how many of these type of postings the BBC gets

backlog!
This is all very interesting, but I'm taking the advice of the eds (backlog) and unsubbing now.
If someone wants to start a thread on Earthquakes at <./>AskH2G2</.> instead of here, I'll happily join in

If I where to post my opinion about people who stick their beliefs up other people's noses here, I'd get yikesd.

I'd just like to point out that my original nasty response was to the Researcher posting their comment to the Announcements, not to what they posted.
Having said that, I will do as requested and now.
