Has anyone been over to http://www.landoverbaptist.com lately?
Nothing specific; it's just always nice to look in and feel the welcoming Christian atmosphere.

1. This is now in the personal space of the researcher who posted the comment.
2. You missed a tirade against the US in the name of God/Allah, predicting a giant earthquake on 9 November. It was posted to the h2g2 Announcements page.
3. You can easily unsubscribe yourself.
4. Someone did mention hampsters - you did!

I didn't find that Landover site particularly funny. There are plenty of good Christians in the world, and there is no need to ridicule them in that sick way.

You're right, Edward, the thong is good, but the whole site reeks of hate against the Christians it is parodying. If these particular Christians hate the world so much, we shouldn't add to that hate. I'm all in favour of a bit of laughing at fanatics, but it should be done in a good-natured way.
