Some days, I wake up feeling old, but this morning, I woke up feeling transparent. I felt stretched thin, prickly. I don't know exactly how to explain it. I felt like every emotion was etched on my face the way wind carves stone. I don't understand it, exactly. I just know it exists, and I wonder why.
Or perhaps I'm just really damned tired.

Quite Frankly, this is bizarre

So I'm flipping thru channels, and then there's the most bizarre thing I have ever seen. It's a cartoon, mocking that abysmally bad MTV show TRL...called CRL (Congressional Request Live). The premise is that C-SPAN gets hip, and presents senate hearings as videos...
I was on the floor, and quite shocked by the clarity of the political statements.

Okay, so I've had a few beers.
But honestly, I had a bad teaching experience, and it's not that I'm looking for sympathy, or advice.
I just needed to demarcate the moment. And remind myself that getting drunk doesn't help in the least.
