It goes really well with the Lebanese lentil soup I just ate. Best thing about NYC is you can have pretty much anything delivered. Bad thing is that means you often have these things delivered as you remain chained to your desk.

I recommend some fresh root ginger in Lemon Juice infused with honey and boiled water.
Gargle with warm/hot salt water if you've got a sore throat.

No sore throat... yet. I just had one of my classic sneezing fits (which generally last two or three minutes)... I can hardly breathe now. I don't have any fresh ginger (that I'm aware of)... but I'll see what I can scrounge up in the kitchen.

Amy+ - Actually I was quite serious (or as close as I get anyway). 
I had the soup for lunch and had a bit of a sneezing fit just before posting. Though I think the sneezing had to do with an early holiday gift I just opened.
