I always received "extra pay" (for overtime, transport and the like) up to one and a half month later: If I had overtime between - say - 15 May and 15 June it would be paid to me last bankday of June. So overtime on 15 may would be paid to me 45 days later

I do wonder how hard it would be to keep a spreadsheet of the events I do; they know the upcoming ones and get paid in advance for my services. When they're preparing everyone else's wages, check the spreadsheet, send me mine up to date. Not rocket science is it.

would you have to "dig up" old payslips ?

No wages for April yet yes I know it's a Bank Holiday but still, couldn't they have been sent early? I wonder if anyone else got theirs.

My little helper may not be helping me much longer. Her daughter has health issues and now her mother has had a hip replacement so she has a double caring role. I know how hard that is. She's hoping she can make this Friday's wedding... *fingers crossed*. My partner has offered to assist with weddings on Saturdays but he works Mon-Fri so weekday funerals would be impossible. Praying

Wedding rehearsal went well last night, delightful family looking forward to Friday's wedding. It was tipping down as they left church and some complaints but I told them not to worry, I've ordered sunshine for Friday and they laughed. *fingers crossed*

MY wedding! 9 year after down the line - it was "with this ring I de-weld" and never been happier

I usually collect my partner from work at 4.30pm on a Friday but that'll be impossible today so he's hoping to get a lift into Cleethorpes and make his way to the church. Then it'll be home for trifle

He goes swimming Friday nights, so we just have a snack

July is already fully booked - 2 funerals next week, then 4 wedding rehearsals on two nights, then 4 weddings
