It just seemed to be taking forever with my symptoms and not feeling right - it's like wading through mud energywise, I'm lucky there's only me and Goldie here because no-one else would be being looked after. I am beginning to dread Wednesdays with my mother and now her INR is so low they want her back for bloodletting every weekeven after that performance there's trudging round Tesco feeling like I have an elephant sat on my chest and then I have to offload 2 lots of shopping,
What time is bedtime?

There should be someone else there and they should be looking after you and Goldie.

I really feel and worry for you GB. I think at least you must really try and persuade mother to let you do shopping online. After all what will she do if you cannot do it with her?
Is there no-one else who could help or are you too, too stubborn to ask for help?
Take care, and I really mean that,

Good advice there. At least until the operation is completed. Then you will feel better, and have your energy back. How about online shopping, and just going out for a nice tea or lunch with mum, to get out of the house? Surely she must care that you are unwell?

I, too, hope you find a solution to this one, soon. As Milla says, your mother, of all people, ought to consider your health just this once.

I have tried to get help with her, but she turns it down flat. Gordon offered to take her shopping when he does his, which was very good of him considering we're no longer a couple, but she said no. The only other family nearby is my sister & younger brother, they both work full time.
I have queried online shopping with her, but she just got confused. She won't buy anything unless she's inspected, fondled, squeezed it, checked the sell-by date, checked it's on offer, etc. When I told her there's a £5 charge for door delivery she almost had a fit.

Oh, GB, I do sympathise, because I would be exactly like her I get stuff delivered but only after I have:
<> oh, and checked the ingredients and sugar salt and fat levels!!!!
Behave Prof
Except mine is delivered 'free' from the chilly shop.
Hadn't realised you and G were no longer an item, so sorry.
