New date for the op now, for anyone not reading the NaJoPoMo journal. Tuesday 20th Nov. for the anniversary of my Dad's passing on that date.

Friend of mine had a major vein in his one leg replaced with - dralon, I believe - yesterday. He texted me he is okay. Good for him. Your procedure will be just as fine, I'm sure

The way you are feeling I was hoping they would bring the date forward not delay it! I hope the new date is not upsetting - I hate certain 'anniversaries'.

My mother wasn't best pleased, when I told her. She changed the date on her calendar but then exclaimed "we usually go out on that day" I agreed, but there's nothing I can do! She then said she'd have to spend it alone, as Yvonne & Robert are at work and Keith lives away. Sorry Mum, but I need this op!

If, like me, you are now taking Clopidogrel - be ready for just about every medical person you meet to tell you how important it is not to miss it!

My surgeon was pleased with my progress and weightloss so I got discharged on Wednesday. Just keep taking the tablets! I can concentrate on Mum now
