I can add nothing useful that hasn't already been said except that I am pleased that J is well.

Still thinking of you and your's with much love and affection GB - hang in there - my Mother was my 'rock' at this time and I am sure that you will be the 'rock' too. I shall be in your neck of the woods next week; and will gladly give you a real if you feel up to it.
Love Scorp xx

The naming ceremony went well and my daughter is now on her way back. The hospital is arranging a funeral for them next week, and counselling for the bereaved couple. I'm so glad they're getting the help they need.

Oh Gb, so am I! There was nothing of that when I lost mine, in fact they made me feel useless as if they had no more interest in me, and I was bundled home. Just one Sister showed some feeling.

I don't think my sister was offered any of this, so I'm glad J and A won't be all alone in this.

It's vitally important GB! There was nothing like it in my time. All we can all do is to be there for those we love. Jenny will take some time before it 'hits her' then she will doubtless veer between "why did they take my baby?" and "what did I do wrong?" There is that horrible sense of guilt - which is obviously unfounded; but she will still feel it - that's where the love comes in - just be there for her and you should hopefully, get some relief from that - love you to bits.

Dear GB,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandchild, your much loved sons' babe. It is something so horrific to lose an infant, and incredibly difficult to overcome.
I wish you all strength and to your son's girl friend great courage. In my youth I also experienced such a loss. and I found that very few understood the literally physically emotional pain which one felt. .
Go well and I pray for strength to you all.
Also my condolences on the loss of your much loved father.
With affection
Christiane
