You can call me TC Posted Jan 8, 2008
I am so sorry, Annie. This makes *me* feel so angry, and empty, and sad, and powerless - I can't begin to imagine how *you* feel.
We would like to know what the cause was when you feel ready and whether there's hope that they will be able to become a happy family eventually.

Jenny had her 20-week scan and everything was OK, then 2 weeks later she got stomach pains, went to the toilet and her waters broke. That was Friday night, and Allan took her to hospital. They haven't given a reason but I'll try and find out more on Monday if Jenny wants to talk about it.
Allan's rung me while I was at Mum's today, asked us to choose the readings for Monday because neither of them are religious so I chose "God's Lent Child" and Mum chose "Footprints"

I hope all goes well Annie. It's very sad. lovely choices -I am not 'religious' either but I do believe. A case of 'may your god go with you' I think.
I hope they can give you all an explanation of what happened ad some hope for the future, though I doubt they can bear to think about that just now.
You are all in our thoughts.

My rock, Laura, is in bits
She's a trained grief counsellor but this has hit her hard. I suspect that she was strong for me when I lost my Dad and bottled up a lot of stuff, and it's found an outlet now.
I am trying to organise transport to Sheffield for me and Mum but my first option has not panned out, it looks like I'm going to have to ask Ron, and I didn't want to. But I just can't face the drive myself, the day will be stressful enough. I don't know Sheffield and Mum can't navigate. *sigh*

can you ask some one in Sheffield to guide you in by waiting at pumping station just outside Sheffield?

If all else fails GB - try this - get the postcode to where you are going.

I did that when I drove to agcBen's house last year. I got lost because I couldn't read to navigate, and drive at the same time

Is there a train, then you just have to get someone to meet you at the station? That's more expensive i know (bloody British railway system is such a total rip-off!) but might be less pressure than getting Ron off his bum to help out.

I just looked up God's Lent Child
That should be very nice -
It reminds me of when a very old man told me some years ago about how he lost his little sister when he was six and she was three. He said, 'she was only around just long enough to touch everyone's heart'

and this little one has touched hearts all over the world. My RL friend was here yesterday with some yellow tulips and she was amazed by all the comments. Then we went to see Ruth at the Spiritualist Church and that was very uplifting
Terri re Trains. I'd have no problem with that if it was just me. But it's not and I won't put my mother through that. She's always been ferried around, for over 50 years by my Dad and lately by me and my siblings. Thanks for the thoughts everyone. What I need is a
