almost 900 seti units!

Exactly. I like to think we are pioneers, laying the groundwork for future generations. We know we're only searching 1% of the sky. But that doesn't mean we don't hope we'll find a suitable candidate.
I didn't like the entry either I think my posts in PeerReview probably reflected that...
It's already been scouted, and if it gets chosen for the edited guide so be it.
That doesn't mean we have to like it.
I'm on my 900th unit

Trust you to notice before me!
Just because I was watching and waiting, it was a really s-l-o-w unit, it must have taken 18 hours - just like a kettle, eh?
Got up this morning to find my 901st unit had already done 66%. {in 8 hours}

Menza seems to be speeding up dramatically. His average used to be app. 1 unit per day over the last months, but now he made 15 units over the weekend. New machine? ...
anyhow ... the faster the better

Yes I noticed that. I've been closing in quickly on him, and then all of a sudden I'm 17 behind and staying there how ever fast I crunch.

I downloaded my 100 workunit certificate at the weekend. Not bad for a beginner, I thought
Congrats on the 500, GB

Menza - I think he turns his pc off but then when someone threatens to catch him he leaves it on all the time

Just been through the message boards on the site. Apparently one unfortunate person did the same work unit five times within the space of three days
Just completed unit #200

I've started to speed up a bit. I realized they finally made an OSX version available, and I can do about 1 1/2 units per day now. I can only do about a 1/2 unit on the Windows machine I'm using ... but now I'm leaving them running when I leave work, so I'll see if I can catch Mina!

You two have been fighting over the #42 place for ages!
Poor pheloxi
Well done Croz!
I wonder if I'll reach a thousand CPU's before the wind-down?

I'm up to 180, will I get the 200 by the weekend?
I have processed duplicate units several times but could it be those are particularly interesting and need rechecking? Or just a cock-up on the download front.
I must get a flattering photo for my profile. My elder brother used to say that the only flattering photo of me is one with a paperbag over my head Now he says that to his wife

I just advanced from rank 19 to rank 17, passing both Jon&Kaja and Stella. If I keep that speed, I'll even pass DNA ... maybe even tonight or tomorrow?
