Last night I sent off my 500th unit {credited to me} even though I have done 130 more...*shrug*
This morning I logged on to find an email from setiweb congratulating me on the milestone and offering me a certificate of appreciation.
Woo-Hoo!

You will not reply to this message because you never do, but I dont like being accused of "stealing your units" Annie, like I was by Mina, and by you.
When you did those units, we were a couple and we had one seti account between the two of us.
There is no way to seperate out those units as I have tried to explain, but I will finally put this matter to rest.
I have figured out how to give back these units you say I have taken away from you
When my total hits 1,000 units (should be today) I am going to put your email address into my seti at home client and give my computer to you for a while until I have paid my debt to you.
I hope this will suffice there is no other way of doing it.
I do not steal. I do not lie. I I never stole anything from you other than your heart, for a while.
I hope you are ok, and keeping well.
As I said in the last (totally ignored) post, I guarentee you get to 600 a lot quicker than you did the last 100 units.

I tried to join the setti project but I tried to but it was unobtainable. I am very interested in the search of intelligent life in space, so please can anyone help me and tell me what should I do to join the project.

Thanks everyone.
Jedi Apprentice, I don't think you can do seti@home without a computer.
But feel free to correct me anyone, if I'm wrong.
J.A. is posting through her tv, but don't ask me how.

I use the tv email service which helps access this. I have been sent an email orginally by sister Margaret via her penpal and later on by one of the LD members. Loup Dargent (Friends of Lesuire District) can gice you a better explanation. Sorry for the spelling AGB but the rain is effecting my brain. I could access it at the library when I feel like dropping but with this rain, I have not used the computer-internet at the library for nearly a fortnight. Congratulations on the Seti points that you have obtained. All we need now is First Contact ie Star Trek Film First Contact. It would be wonderful if that happened all we need now is for someone here to discover warp drive as Doctor Zaphrin Cochraine did in the Star Trek film when it nearly never happened because of the Borg.

Jedi Apprentice:
Thanks!
Trek fans are always welcome!
You need a pc to do the seti units, you download the software and your pc processes the data either in the background while you're using it, or on the screensaver when you're not.
Have you read my edited entry on seti@home?

I have a C3PO like brain which is run on sugar and chocolate. I blame the Master he is always getting into mischeif.
Thank you for the information. I have not yet AGB seen your article on seti but I will read it now. I know that they have had one definite answer to
their transmittion. I saw a programme about seti last year saying that their official funding had been stopped and now they rely on private donations.

That's correct, JA.
Have a look at the main web page, it lists the "Sponsors and acknowledgements" on there.
