Shiny brilliant, GB.
I'm only crunching on the steam driven PCs at the moment as No2 son has got a problem with his P4 and as the AMD is networked to it, I can't switch that on either. So I'm doing about 2 units a day.
I had the faint hope of at least getting close to Croz by the weekend. But now I'll only see his dust

I left my computers on at work, so they should be crunching 24/7, barring unforseen crashes ... like now ... when I haven't been there in 4 days ...

How strange.
I only posted that 7 hours ago and I was half-way through my 936th unit.
I know I logged off at 9.30am, because my friend arrived and we went for the 10 to 10 for the cinema.
I've just checked my stats and according to it I have completed 938 and done 22% of unit 939.
*wonders what happened to her pc while she was out*
Maybe the and all the other started peddling*

Strange, isn't it?

Crunching seti units is a bit like watching a kettle boil. It's a lot quicker if you don't watch it all the time.

... and even quicker if you increase the heat ...

you're not advocating the use of multiple computers and overclocked processors are you? hope so, it'd give me a good reason to roll out the command line version as a service on the spare computer, get others to do my bidding

Both the overclocked PCs are lying on the floor of No2 son's room in bits. That'll teach him to keep fiddling with them

See what happens when people use computers as musical instruments? It'll all end in tears ...

... but if I had to compare incompetent hardware fiddling to incompetent fiddle fiddling ...
... at least the pc doesn't make that creepy sounds ...

AGB is going to reach her 1,000th unit on wednesday or thursday this week. Doesn't that demand a party with some etc. ... ?
If I remember correctly, the real reason to get herself a computer was to be able to participate in SETI@home, wasn't it?

Just successfully deployed the command line version on the spare computer using Windows Server 2003 resource toolkit. I was expecting it to be a lot harder than it actually was.
Muwahaha! All will do my bidding
