Shellers....a question:
You stated that the love of your life thinks {thought} you've got a wonderful bum.
Now, does that mean that:
a) You still have a wonderful bum but the love of your life is in the past
b) The love of your life no longer thinks your bum is so wonderful?
Forgive the question, but it is very early in the morning & I'm not fully awake yet.....

The love of my life thought everything about me was wonderful - what she currently thinks I don't know as she walked out of it about five months ago

I didn't mean it like that, but yes I do as I still hold out a (very remote) hope. You asked she she still thought that and I just meant that I don't know.

People walking out on us are the most foolish people on earth.
My ex is indeed the eldest of the two, and he left me 9 months ago. I don't hold out any hope that he will return, but as we are in the same social circle we still see each other quite a bit.
I did dream about him recently, that we got back together, and I was estatically happy about it. Luckily when I woke up I wasn't devastated to find out it wasn't true, so I guess I am over him now.
Also luckily I have not been celibate all this time, as 3 months later I found a friend that was happy just to have a sexual relationship with me. (That's a slight lie, I chased him around for over 3 months until he agreed LOL, I am a determined woman.)
I was too ripped apart to want anything else.

I forgot to say that I still care what he thinks of me, he still has the power to hurt me with a careless word.
Which I hate, and wish I didn't.

That does wear off, believe me.
15 years on from my divorce, when I thought my world had ended, I no longer give my ex-husband another thought.
I should add to all you freshly-parted souls, that it didn't take me all this time!!!!
It's just nice that it does eventually go away...

But M.K*, you are only one metre away from me....{tracing her forefinger down his chest}
And I am soooo flattered that you think it's me!
I hope you're not disappointed, but I only have one Researcher number...and I could never do a page like that, I am much too...er... inexperienced

I think he ran away for three months as he is virtually best friends with my ex, and he felt guilty. In fact he must still feel guilty as he hardly goes to see him any more. But you know men (you are one), sex wins every time.
If I did take you, there would be nothing left, I am very thorough.

I hope they are only "blood red" not "red blood".
That would be a bit gruesome, and very messy.
