I think I may be a bit big to join the Anthill Mob, but I've done the quiz and ended up here, so I'd better go and get a sharp suit, a hat and a violin case! I always loved Wacky Races, so I am delighted to join the cast; and if any Penelope Pitstops out there need rescuing, I'll do my best to be of assistance.

After searching the web, I found the answer in a list of infrequently asked questions.

Clyde, Dum Dum, Zippy, Pockets, Snoozy, Softly, and Yak Yak.

Now that I read them, old synapses start to fire and I can remember everyone except Softly. Who's he?

Btw, their car was called Chugaboom in The Perils of Penelope Pitstop. Do they have another car in Wacky Races, or did they just rename it? I can't remember.

I think they only bothered naming them individually, and the car Chugaboom, for the PoPP. In Wacky Races, wasn't the car and occupants referred to as the mobsters or something?

Those names, and indeed the Chug-a boom, were for the PoPP, as you correctly hypothesised.
In the WW, their names were:
Danny ; Ring-a-ding ; Kurby ; Rug-bug Benny ; Mac ; Cylde ; Willy

Collectively known as the Ant Hill Mob. The car was a bit (only a bit) different too.
