Don't try to hide the truth. They'll find out anyway.

Alice must have been anorexic to fit down a rabbit hole.
Or perhaps the rabbit was really chubby.

The sun is sinking towards the horizon pretty fast, here, at present and it's quite noticeable - nearly on a daily basis.
My ape-man brain just kicked in - I found myself wondering what will happen when it fails to get up one morning - and I just invented man's first word.

I hear the clang and lup-lup-lup sounds of heavy construction vehicles as they ply their way down the streets in front and back of my house. Sometimes there are beeping sounds as they back up. They are digging up the streets in order to install new sewer pipes. A study last year revealed that our pipes are so dysfunctional that my neighborhood is basically a leaching field . We went before an agency that awards money for projects, and won a large sum of money for it. Once the new pipes are in place, we should have fewer leaks and clogs. Until then, though, there will be a lot of aggravation, including having our lawns dug up...

We looked across the vast interstellar distances of space and saw.....chocolates. At first we thought our telescope was broken or in need of cognitive therapy, but on further analysis we deduced that there really was a planet full of chocolate out there. The high command waso n the verge of authorizing an exploratory probe when we received some very unwelcome news: the chocolate planet's chocolate was laced with transfats.

The solution of a homogeneous first-order linear differential equation of the form
a(x) dy/dx + b(x)y = 0
where a(x) and b(x) are known functions of x, is easy to find by direction integration.

Love can't be rushed.
No, you'll just have to wait.
It doesn't come easy,
For it's a game of give and take.
[Those would make great lyrics if someone wanted to set them to music. ]
