And women, of course, are totally untouched by sexual gratification?

There aren't any left. The Bloodhound Gang made Vagina into a dirty word. We'll have to think up some new ones.
BTW I think it's a great song.

I like most of the album - soppy old romantic that I am. Who are the Bloodhound Gang and what did they do?

As it turned again on the point of language - it seems to me that finding a nice word for vagina is a problem in other languages, too. In English we use the word 'womb'.

"How about, the whole of creation? Nah a bit too wordy I guess. In Thai they call it Hoi, which is also a bearded clam."

I think you should take a little time to study anatomy. Womb = uterus = that part of the female in which the fertilized egg implants and developes. This is somewhat remote from those parts of the female genitalia associated with sexual intercourse and arousal, although there may be some collateral stimulation (phone a friend). Personally I think that lovers settle upon a mutually agreeable noun. I think that English has no publicly acceptable word because we are still such a repressed society.

First of all I have to take some English lessons. I know difference in anatomy, this is the way we use English in nowhereland.

Just a minute - back there - Why should Hatifnat phone a friend? Are we talking telephone sex now?
And the fact that this conversation has got round to this reminds me of something I once heard someone say when the conversation had petered out a bit: "Shall we talk about it straight away, or shall we wait till we get round to it?"

"Kink or Quim".. very good!
Ben Elton was *discussing* this once on TV, explaining that men had all these empowering names for their willies (my personal fave term) like 'purple headed warrior', and the only similar term he came up with for women was "her Mighty Muff"! Which still makes me giggle..

Zorpheus - I'm so hip I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis. Posted Oct 26, 2000
A buddy of mine use to refer to it as "the never healing wound"
but that is a bit unflatering.
I've also heard it refered to as "her box".

I had forgotton "muff" - as in "muff-diving" and "beaver".
There is a classic humourous exchange between Leslie Nielson and Priscilla Presley in one of the Police Academy movies. Priscilla has climbed a ladder to get something off a high shelf. Leslie holds the ladder and gazes up at her in admiration. He says "Nice beaver". She smiles sweetly, and says "Thank you, I only had it stuffed this morning" and after a two beat pause hands him down an animal just back from the taxidermist.
I was pleased with kink or quim, too.
*smiles modestly*
