I've landed on both the sailboat and the steam ship.

Ok... I've confirmed that the wind patterns are variable and even if you don't touch the controls, you'll land in a different spot on repeated runs.

Today's Doodle on Google celebrates Edith Head's 116th birthday who was an American costume designer who won eight Academy Awards, more than any other woman.

Oh, that's who it is.
I thought it was the inventor of the odometer.
The word google comes out looking dangerously close to 666
when rendered as calculator LED numbers.

Oh wow!
The Nov 5th is an art deco steampunk locomotive.
Now I gotta go see if it does anything. And who it's for.
And why.
I kinda hope it doesn't do anything.
It looks so good just sitting there
oozing kinetic possibilities like
a new book from Terry Pratchett.

Well, I love the locomotive, but did Shakuntula Devi get shafted?
Most of the day yesterday, there was no doodle. Then late yesterday evening I see the calculator doodle. Now it's just 6:20a and it's already gone.
Shortest lived doodle ever. Blink and you missed it.

For me Shakuntula Devi was there all day (google.de).

Well.... maybe I just THOUGHT I checked google.com earlier in the day.
Lately, it seems I have a memory like a... like a... like a...
Oh, what's it called... a thingy... kinda bowl shaped made with screen... I wanna say colander. No, it starts with an S.
I know, I'll google it. "Memory like a S"...
Got it! Apparently, according to google, I have a memory like a "steel trap!"

I'm conflicted... everyone thinks that the Rorschach test is composed of random ink blots, but it's not. It's a handful of very specific shapes, some with colors.
Some are meant to evoke images relating to your mother and some relating to your father and the size of his...
Wait, have I said to much?
I don't know what you're talking about...
I've never seen an actual Rorschach test?! ...
