If he's in the final then he's British, no?
I thought he was only Scottish in the papers when he loses...

No, you're out of date.
It seems the new politically correct language now is, that if he's in the final he's Scots. But if he loses, he's British.

I want Murray to win, but I find it impossible to root against Federer. It'll be an interesting one - Murray has beaten Federer the last four times they've played, I believe, but Federer is far more experienced in Grand Slams. I think it will be four sets at least.

Well he's already come a damn sight closer than Henman ever did, and though I do honestly feel a certain ambivalence because of all the 'Scottish' stuff, I found myself crying as well, when he gave his speech. Boy did it hurt him, I like that he shows that.
I still think he needs to really get that serve percentage sorted, and maybe as Boris said in the studio sometimes go for winners more often in long rallies. But that's good that he can get better, as Tim said the shots are certainly there.
But yes, Federer was amazing.
But Andy, and also

Shame.
Well it's also no shame to lose to the guy who can get to 17 out of the last 18 slam finals and win most of those.
He is up against the best player of all time there. I've no doubt his time will come - especially as at least at some stage Federer will get too damn old.
I think the score line belies that Murray did not roll over and made himself hard to beat at the least. to both players for a fantastic match.
Remember how well Nadal had to play to finish Fed off at Wimbledon in 2008? That's what you have to do to beat the Fed in a final.

Yes, by which time some young prodigy will come along to block AM`s path to grand slam glory.
Plus Nadal won`t always be injured.

Yeah kz, you never know he might even be thwarted by some young buck Englishman coming along, uneartherd by our Lawn Tennis Asociation, after seventy odd years of failure.

Whoo hoo, he's playing absolutely great. This is the first year when I've seriously thought he could win it.
Brilliant match. Most enjoyable.

And then straight back again once they saw how badly Murray was dominated by Djokovic.
I did like Djokovic's striptease though, even if he didn't go far enough.

- Orcus back in 2010.
2 and a half years later and we're still waiting. Whilst I wish Murray well you can't help but admire Federer: he's genuinely the most talented bloke to ever pick up a tennis racquet. It's astounding to see how good he is, even in his thirties.
