Actually, having seen Wogan on Proms in the Park last night, I realise that his imminent demise is the best thing that happened to R2. He was AWFUL

Talking of awful, who's idea was it to have John Barrowman up there singing with Barry Manilow? It was cheesier than a direct hit on the Dairylea factory

Although it has to be said the last time he [ Alex Lester ] was on day time radio , standing in for Ken Bruce I believe , somebody wrote in and described the show as a 'swirling cespool of filth' SCOF for short . Alex was quite proud of this

he sees daylight
he works 3-6 so in the summer half the day has gone by the time he finishes, its just that 'normal' people dont realise the sun comes up aroun 4 in the morning in the summer
