I just read all posts in this thread (well, all which had anything to do with the question) and found out:
Mainly people from english speaking countries and us few german speakers.
How that? Where are all the french and spanish and whatever speaking people? They are here, but why don't they post?

Well as it is a BBC site and mostly the BBC are UK based but I know the BBC has HQs world wide too e.g. USA and Australia
This could explain the lack of French, Germans and Spanish posters.

Kew-North-By-Thames, Brentford Riviera, or just plain old Brentford, Middlesex, England. (it's 2 minutes from Kew Gardens...)
Born in Bedford, Home of Whipsnade and the Duke of Bedford, hence also the first home of wild wallabies (my uncle used to get them in his orchard as well as Muntjacs back in the sixties.) They have now spread right around the M25, and are in Essex, Suffolk, Sussex and Kent.
Below is the most northerly sighting I can find. Web address is for article on Kangaroos (Don't they look like Giant Grass?) followed by excerpt.
http://www.nwf.org/internationalwildlife/kangaroo.html
For more than 50 years, a wild breeding population of Bennett's wallabies has been inhabiting the Peak District of Wiltshire, England. (The Bennett's wallaby is the Tasmanian subspecies of the widespread mainland red-necked wallaby.) Originally imported to England for a landowner's menagerie, the wallabies were released during World War II, which marked the end of many such private zoos. The area where the wallabies were set free is now a public park, but at last report, a group of about 15 wallabies still lived there, an English anomaly. Similar populations exist on the European mainland.

Did I answer this? Anyway, I'm an from currently residing in London. (I don't feel the need to qualify this as "London, UK". This is THE London. All the others are copies.) I seemed to have passed myself off successfully as a human.
