The New Guy In Town
When I say town, obviously I am referring to this website and would prefer that people not get confused, get the idea that there is a town where all h2g2 members live and pick up sticks in search for this town.
I live in several places, namedly Northern Ireland and East Anglia. As a student four years ago, I decided to go to University in Coleraine, County Derry and, if I am very unlucky, will be graduating in another three. Being 23years old now, I get the feeling that by the time I leave university I'll be too old to get any jobs that I want and I sometimes question whether the college life was a good choice. Debt, debauchery and downright disgusting living conditions are not my idea of the good life but, then again, neither is the 9-5 zombie fest that I'll end up in when I actually get out in to the real world. Any opinions on what kind of work does not involve working 9-5 and pays reasonably well would be greatly appreciated...
My home town in sunny England is an unashamedly over-ambitious place which likes to think it has more to offer than it really does. The football team, Peterborough United, personifies the attitude that most of its inhabitants employ and my cue to leave would've come at the age of seven if I were legally allowed to. Please do not allow my attitude to cause you to steer clear of Peterborough. And if you live there and like it, I apologise.
I think I have clearly shown that I am a very positive person and that my upbeat, comedic tone will serve well here at h2g2.
I was going to stop after that last sentence but that was only because I thought you couldn't type any lower. What else would you like to know about me? I am an open book; anything you wish to learn I will be happy to give you information on. Anything you wish to learn about me at least. And some of that is actually private so not necessarily 'anything'. Hope to chat to some people soon. Cheers,
