Only if you live downwind.
Speaking of witch, there's a new study on air pollution just out.
Seems North Florida is the safest place in the whirled to breathe.
Can't say the same for Europe. Or the far East. Dark, dark brown.
The colour variation and density scale is a grid based on 2000 sq km
per death. There's a lot of white space and beige areas and a few
islands of blue. The Appalachian Mountains, two valleys in India.
The map is zoomable in your browser once you open it in another
window so you can zero in on your own location. Jus' fer laffs, eh.
Is it time to invest in those Japanese face masks?
Smog (ground level ozone) and fine particulate matter are killing
nearly 3 million people per annum:
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/geekquinox/nasa-map-plots-where-air-pollution-most-likely-175957653.html
"...2.1 million premature deaths happen every year in the world due to fine particulate matter... Ground-level ozone, the other main component of smog, has also taken its toll, resulting in an estimated 470,000 premature deaths per year around the globe."

The man who found it seemed like a fun guy. Mushrooms are just the fruiting structure of a much larger organism:

Reminds me of that time a WH Smith lorry shed it's load on the M1. It was stationery in both directions.

I'm starting to get *very* tired of all the restart this, remake that, that seems to be the only stuff on telly and in the cinema these days.
Okay, to be honest there's been quite a bit of new stuff the last year, but sometimes you just have to wonder why they do it, except the cynic in me cuts in and say "Merchandising" Just look at the new Robocop, pointless.

A bowl sells for 18 million US dollars. I've got loads of these bowls in my cupboard but they don't seem to have the magical fairy dust the buyers are looking for: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-24447204

I hope it was a lottery winner who bought the bowl. Someone who spent their entire winnings on it, and now spends all their time just sitting looking at it.

A government minster said "badgers moved the goalposts" when asked why marksmen failed to reach a cull target.

Not to mention the Squirrels tying the marksmen's shoelaces together and the Jackdaws being unduly critical.

I'm starting to wonder about the current batch of ministers and politicians. I think they're taking this "The public will believe anything we say" thing too far.

I've never understood why humanity spends so much time and money keeping alive a species that clearly wants to go extinct.
Pandas are cute and everything but I look at them and think that, with all the difficulties they have getting pregnant/giving birth and their incredible fussiness with food, they've decided they don't want to exist any more.
